At the end of the Summer Season, during April or May it is recommended to have your evaporative air conditioning system shut down for winter. This process involves the draining and cleaning of your system. Moving parts are lubricated and power and water are isolated from the system, minimising the likelihood of any problems during the cooler months of the year. Winter covers can be supplied and fitted to your system to prevent winter drought and the loss of heat from your home during the cooler months.
